This is the thread to discuss the Eurovision Song Contest etc.

According to Wikipedia:

The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 will be the 55th Eurovision Song Contest. The contest will take place at the Telenor Arena, in the municipality suburb of Bærum, which is situated in the southern part of the Greater Oslo, Norway. This follows Alexander Rybak's win at the 2009 contest with "Fairytale". It will be the third time Norway has hosted the Contest, having previously done so in 1986 and 1996. The semi-finals will take place on 25 and 27 May 2010, with the final on 29 May 2010. 26 countries have confirmed their participation in the contest.

The juries are coming to next year's semi-finals. The 50/50 system is now going to be used at the semi-finals as well as the finals - this year they only used it at the final.

The Eurovision Song Contest's Reference Group of the EBU (the governing body of the contest) has decided that the professional jury in each country will not just decide on 50% of the votes in the Final, but also in the two Semifinal's, in next year's contest in Oslo, Norway........

I think the 50/50 voting thing will probably a good idea, less political voting in it.

It's not got many votes though, it probably won't achieve any good results.
